Formal Elements Portfolio

An artist's portfolio is an edited collection of their best artwork intended to showcase an artist's style or method of work and different examples of current work.
Personally for me, to have a successful portfolio, the photos need to be seen as a set. This means that they own a consistency within each other. E.g. black and white, or colour? The photos must stick to the portfolio theme and edit style with the same intention. E.g. formal elements. Also, they must be the best work created/selected from the artist. Typically a portfolio will own an aesthetic that is consistent and visually pleasing to the eye.
Adjective
Concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.

Noun
A set of principles underlying the work of a particular artist or artistic movement.

My personal portfolio is based on the human form and modelling; the formal elements for this are form and tone. I learnt when creating my form blog how much I enjoy and excel at model work. I find the human form to be aesthetically pleasing and has so much variety in what it can
present.
